SURFSIDE,Fla. – Governor Ron DeSantis will hold a press conference Tuesday morning in Surfside following Saturday's attack in Israel.
The governor will speak at the Bal Harbor Shul and will be joined by Lieutenant Governor Jeanette Nuñez and Israeli Consul General Maor Elbaz- Starinsky.
“ Now is the time for leadership, now is the time for the chairman to be there, to talk about how important it's for us to be united in the fight against terrorism, ” DeSantis said.
The governor stressed the Biden administration's easing of warrants against Iran and said theU.S. government shouldn't support programs “ that enrich the Iranian governance. ”
“ When Iran receives further plutocrat, it isn't using it to ameliorate the lives of the people of Iran, ” DeSantis said. “ What they use it for is to finance terrorism throughout the Middle East and around the world. Nunez was one of several Florida leaders who attended a Stand with Israel interfaith rally in Aventura on Monday night.
